I usually just eat plain oatmeal, but my sister has shared this great oatmeal recipe with me. Oatmeal is quite healthy by itself, but adding chia seeds and hemp seeds with all sorts of fruits will make this meal super nutritious!
First, cook oats and chia seeds with milk. Cooking chia seeds with oats and milk will soften them and make them more easily digestible.
Before serving the cooked oatmeal, add small pieces of fresh strawberries, blueberries, or other kinds of berries, apples and some hemp seeds. Banana may also go well with this meal too if you have it.
You can buy chia seeds and hemp seeds at Costco at a bargain price.
