No-guilt pudding—the most delicious healthy pudding I have ever eaten

I found this recipe from the following video:

I was amazed how tasty it is and how easy to make it.

Ingredients for each cup

  • 1/2 cup nutmilk (e.g. almond milk)
  • 2 tbspn Chia seed
  • Some yogurt (optional)
  • Assorted Frozen fruits or fresh fruits (e.g., mangoes, blueberries, nectarines, kiwis, banana, etc.)

In each small glass container, mix 2 tbspn of chia seeds into 1/2 cup nutmilk and cover it with a lid. Let it sit at least 15 min. or until the mixture has thickened.

I just prepare many cups of them and let them sit in the fridge to thicken while doing a short workout.

Then, get these cups out and add different fruit pieces into each container.

You can refrigerate or freeze them.

You will be surprised how tasty it is.

What a great way to prepare a healthy snack and healthy dessert for your family!!

I did not know pudding can be this healthy!

I just finished eating three cups of these in one sitting and I don’t feel guilty at all. That’s my breakfast. However, I would not recommend this.  I read that it is not a good idea to eat so much chia seeds in one sitting. 2 table spoons is probably a good amount for one sitting.

Americans love to eat cakes for desserts; Chinese usually eat fruits for desserts.  This Chia Seeds pudding is a good middle ground.  It tastes likes usual pudding desserts but have a lot of healthy fruits in them.

P.s. tip for storing chia seeds: I kept my chia seeds bag in my freezer so it can be kept fresh longer.

I made it again today:

Cut up fruits

Add 2 tablespoons of chia seeds

Cover the above with enough milk

Add a cup of yogurt

Mix

Put in the fridge for 30 min

Serve!!
