Ling-Ling Shih, PhD, Assistant Professor of Chinese Language and Culture at Bard Early College, Cleveland, received her Master's and PhD degree in Anthropology from State University of New York at Albany, another Master's degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from Middlebury College, and a certificate in Translation Studies from University of Chicago. Prior to teaching at BHSEC, she has also taught Chinese, Sociology, Anthropology, East Asian studies at Hope College, Grand Valley State University, and Nanyang Technological University.
