Add a little magical touch to your salad

I haven’t eaten salad that much lately. I forgot how tasty a salad can be!

How to make a good salad?

Number one: don’t buy those prepackaged salad mixture. They taste like cardboard! Yuck! You wonder why your kids don’t like vegetables!

So the number one rule should be use fresh vegetables. A good red and green leafy salad. Also add fresh tomatoes, cucumber, carrot, mushrooms, onion, red, avocado, yellow pepper or whatever you have in the fridge.

I found it makes salad delicious by adding the following to your salad:

  • Shredded cheese
  • Boiled eggs
  • Some mixture of shredded nuts, dry berries, raisins as seen in the packages above or you can just separately add them yourselves from your own pantry

Adding any or all of these ingredients will make salad taste so much better! Have the dry almond nuts, cranberry raisins and regular raisins, banana chips, some other crunches or some ready-made package in the pantry. Add them to salad when needed! I added three packages to it for a big plateful of salad. I don’t think I would have liked it this much without it. My favorite dressing for salad is Italian dressing or Ranch.

I really like the Apple Bee’s Asian Salad; however, we can make it as tasty without costing us 9 dollars a plate!

Cardboard salad or take extra minutes to make my own? I will opt for the latter!!
