I was surprised to find that based on this scientific study the most effective way to rinse off the pesticides is washing them under running water for enough time! After knowing that produces bought from the farmers’ market are not necessarily certified organic and still contain chemicals natural or not, I am going to make sure that I give my veggies and fruits a very good rinse before I eat them! You can save the trouble on adding vinegar or baking soda or spend money on other products. Just make sure to turn on the faucet and keep the water running to rinse the veggies and fruits and make sure you rinse them well. We got enough toxics in our environment. We certainly don’t need to ingest more into our body!
