Why do we buy expensive dry-up grilled chicken from the store when it is so easy to make our own delicious chicken breasts/ strips? I get it. You are too busy to make it. But if I say it will only take 15 minutes to make a lot yummy chicken strips or breasts which you can use for a good protein source for next three different meals, are you motivated to cook this dish now?
It is soooooo simple and delicious.
All you have to do is:
Put the oil on the pan (avocado oil is good for cooking). If you like, you can add a bit of butter for good flavor.
After the oil is heated, place the chicken breast strips on the pan and pan-fry them at a medium heat.
After browning one side, add chopped garlic into the pan to cook them over oil that is already in the pan. I didn’t put it in the beginning, because it tends to get burned if you put them too early.
While you are browning one side, sprinkle on top of the chicken strips all kinds of seasonings, such as the mixture of dried herbs like parsley, oregano, chili pepper, basil, rosemary, pepper, salt, garlic power, etc.
Once they are brown on one side, flip to the other side. Once the seasoned sides are all browned too, flip them over again. This is optional—you can sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on this side.
Too make sure inside is cooked, cover the lid and cook them in low heat for a few more minutes. Don’t overcook the chicken, but to make sure it is cooked thoroughly, cut one piece open to check if inside is cooked through.
These chicken strips can be served with salad, baked potato or sweet potato! Or steamed vegetables!
