Ingredients
Three small cucumbers
A handful of grapes
Microgreens
Spinach
Chia seeds (1 to 2 tablespoons) —I recommend to soak the seeds with just enough water overnight
Put all vegetables and fruits in the blender the night before.
The next day add the kombucha tea into the blender. Use only 4 Oz to 5 Oz of kombucha (or other liquid such as coconut water) for 16 Oz blender and add the chia seeds if you like. Blend it well and then
Put the smoothie in a Stanley cup or a thermos to keep it cold for a longer duration. I love using Stanley cup because with the straw, it makes it easy to drink in the car and I can usually drink up quite a bit before I even reach my work place.
Drinking vegetable and fruit drink has become a part of my daily routine and that is what I have for my breakfast.
It makes me feel healthy drinking it every day.
For variation, you can mix kombucha tea with a bit of Kefir.
Grapes can be replaced with pineapples or watermelon or kiwi or mix some of them in the blender!
I love making my own veggie fruit drink, not only because it is so much cheaper to make your own drink but I can also make sure that fruits and vegetables are washed thoroughly and no extra sugar added to my drink.
Drink up the green smoothie and be healthy and be happy!
